The fifth grade students travelled to the Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven to decorate a Christmas tree for the Christmee Tree Festival. The students worked hard for several weeks making hand made ornaments for their tree.
The festival runs from December 2 - January 28 and is open to the public. From the Knights of Columbus website:
This festive display showcases the creativity and imagination of students from elementary schools across Connecticut whose handmade ornaments and trim colorfully decorate the museum’s two dozen Christmas trees. Visit the museum and cast your vote for the “Peoples’ Choice” tree.
